Questions to process triggers for breaching your boundaries:

What was my first thought about this situation?

What did I feel in my body as I continued to think about this?

What emotions came up?

What was my urge (usually something to get rid of the feeling – such as “getting it over with”)?

What was my fear if I didn’t do my urge?

What could have contributed to the thoughts/body sensation/feeling/urges I was having about the situation (level on wellness gauge, systemic deficiencies, menstrual cycle, workload, habits etc…).

What is your earliest warning sign for the next time something like this happens and what will you tell yourself and do differently (think evidence bank).
